PrintURMoment Terms and Conditions
Effective from 3 October 2026
1 About us and these terms
1.1 Seller details
PrintURMoment is the trading name of PrintURMoment Ltd. Our business and correspondence address is 23 Ainger Road, Harwich, Dovercourt. All postal correspondence should be sent to this address. Contact us at info.printurmoment@gmail.com. Our website is www.printurmoment.com.
1.2 Scope and consumer rights
These terms apply to consumer purchases through our website and linked order form. A consumer is an individual buying mainly outside their trade or profession. They do not restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and applicable consumer contract regulations. Business or wholesale orders require separately agreed terms. Our privacy policy explains data use; optional marketing and publication permissions are separate from these sale terms.
1.3 Eligibility and availability
Our checkout is intended for adults aged 18 or over. We accept delivery only to destinations displayed at checkout. We do not promise availability of a size, frame or service unless it is offered for the order. Any university or other organisation shown in a customer's story is not thereby endorsing us.
2 Products and included services
2.1 Personalised newspaper prints
We create newspaper-style graduation posters from your submitted information and photographs. Your order specifies the selected size, quantity, format and any expressly included frame or add-on. Unless the order description states otherwise, the price includes collection of your information, editorial drafting, layout, an emailed proof and production of the selected physical print. A frame, editable source file, additional copies or separately downloadable digital product is not included unless expressly purchased. Delivery charges are displayed separately before payment where applicable.
2.2 Nature and appearance
The product is a personal keepsake, not an official academic record, degree certificate or publication issued by your university. Images of sample products illustrate the design and are not your final personalised content. Screen settings, paper and print processes can produce small colour differences, but these do not excuse a material departure from the description or agreed proof. We disclose relevant size, material and frame specifications before purchase. No disclaimer removes our duty to supply goods of satisfactory quality, fit for any purpose agreed with us and as described.
3 Ordering and contract formation
3.1 Order and acceptance
Before paying, check your selection, price and available cancellation information. Submitting an order is your offer to purchase. An automated receipt acknowledges submission; the contract is formed when we email an express order acceptance. If we cannot accept an order, we tell you promptly and refund any payment taken in full. We provide the accepted order details and these terms in a form you can save.
3.2 Information needed after payment
If our form collects the full story after payment, complete it promptly. We cannot prepare an accurate proof until we receive the necessary material. We contact you if information is missing and agree a realistic timetable rather than silently extending delivery. If you stop responding, we send reasonable reminders and at least 14 days' notice before closing the order. We refund unspent amounts; any proposed deduction must reflect justified, reasonable work or unavoidable costs actually incurred and must be lawful. We do not automatically forfeit the whole payment.
3.3 Errors and changes
If there is an obvious price or description error, we explain it and ask whether you want to proceed on corrected terms. We do not impose a higher price after acceptance without agreement. Contact us immediately about changes. Once production begins, a customer-requested alteration may require a paid reprint, which we quote and obtain agreement for first. We remain responsible for correcting our own failures to meet the contract.
4 Prices and payment
4.1 Total price
Prices are in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise and include applicable taxes. The full payable price, including mandatory charges and delivery, is shown before payment. The published print-only price is currently £34.95, subject to the selected product and the price confirmed for your order. Optional extras require your express selection; future price changes do not affect accepted orders.
4.2 Payment and promotions
Payment is due in full when ordering, using the methods offered through our payment provider. We do not charge consumer late-payment penalties under these terms. Discount codes are subject to conditions disclosed with the offer and cannot be combined unless stated. A refund reflects the amount actually paid. We never require you to withdraw a complaint or waive statutory rights to receive a refund that is legally due.
5 Submitted material and permissions
5.1 Accuracy and suitability
Provide accurate information and photographs of adequate quality. Check names, grades, dates, quotations, spelling and factual statements. Only upload material you are entitled to use, including necessary permission from the photographer or copyright owner; possessing a photograph does not necessarily mean you own its copyright. Avoid unlawful, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit or privacy-infringing material, and unnecessary sensitive information. Tell us if a story about another person should not be included.
5.2 Problems with content
We may ask for clarification, suitable replacement material or evidence of rights where reasonably necessary. We may decline unlawful or seriously harmful content. If suitable content cannot be agreed, we explain the reason and resolve the order fairly, including any refund due. We do not impose an unlimited consumer indemnity for every allegation arising from an upload. Each party remains responsible for its own actions as the law provides.
5.3 Limited fulfilment licence
You retain rights in your submitted material. To the extent you can grant them, you give us a non-exclusive licence to copy, edit, format and share it with necessary service providers solely to create, supply and support the order. This does not transfer copyright or authorise public advertising or AI model training. Other people's privacy rights and the photographer's rights must also be respected.
6 AI assistance and proof approval
6.1 Editorial process
We may use OpenAI tools to assist with drafting, followed by human review. AI can produce errors, so we provide a proof for checking before production. Our privacy policy describes necessary information sharing. AI use does not excuse inaccurate goods or careless service.
6.2 Approval and corrections
Review the whole proof, including facts, photographs, layout and selected size, and tell us of corrections in writing. The order includes one consolidated round of customer-requested amendments before final approval; additional discretionary changes may be quoted separately. Corrections needed because we failed to follow your supplied information or agreed requirements are not chargeable. We do not print until you expressly approve the final proof in writing. Silence is not approval.
6.3 Effect of approval
Approval authorises production of the approved version. If we reproduce a mistake you supplied and approved accurately, correcting it afterwards may involve a paid reprint. Approval does not waive your statutory rights, relieve us of responsibility for defects or discrepancies we introduce, or excuse a failure to exercise reasonable care and skill. An incomplete low-resolution upload may affect output only where we have warned you clearly and you expressly agreed to proceed on that basis.
7 Delivery and responsibility in transit
7.1 Timing
The intended delivery window is 5–7 working days after final proof approval, unless your order states a different agreed timetable. Working days exclude weekends and relevant public holidays. This window forms part of the timetable disclosed before purchase; we separately confirm the expected proof date. Unless a different delivery timetable is expressly agreed, we deliver within 30 days of contract formation. Customer delays in supplying information or approval are addressed through an expressly agreed revised date.
7.2 Deadlines and delay
Tell us before ordering if delivery by a particular date is essential. We accept a guaranteed occasion date only where expressly confirmed. If we miss an essential agreed date, refuse delivery, or fail to deliver within an appropriate additional period where the law requires one, you can end the contract and obtain the refund due. We contact you about delays and do not replace these rights with an indefinite extension for events outside our control.
7.3 Risk and damage
Where we arrange delivery, the goods remain our responsibility until you, or a person you identify to receive them, takes physical possession. The limited legal exception for a carrier independently commissioned by you and not offered by us applies where relevant. Good packaging does not transfer our legal responsibilities to the postal service. Contact us about loss, damage or non-delivery; we handle the carrier claim and the remedy owed to you. We do not require you to recover compensation from the carrier first.
7.4 Address and evidence
Check the address supplied. If a failed delivery results from an incorrect address you gave us or an unjustified refusal to accept delivery, we may seek reasonable evidenced additional delivery costs, subject to law. Please report visible damage promptly and provide photographs if safe and practicable. A short reporting window is not a condition of your statutory rights. Keep packaging where reasonably possible for investigation; its absence does not automatically defeat a claim. Ownership transfers when full payment has cleared and the goods have been delivered.
8 Cancellation and change of mind
8.1 Personalised goods
The statutory 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right generally does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, including your custom graduation newspaper. This exception must be explained before purchase and applies to personalised goods, not automatically to every item in the basket. It does not affect rights where goods are faulty, unsafe, misdescribed or not supplied as agreed.
8.2 Our additional goodwill policy
For the personalised product, you may cancel for a full refund before we start drafting or design work. After that, contact us promptly: we consider cancellation fairly and explain any reasonable, evidenced deduction for work or unavoidable costs, without charging more than lawful losses or charging twice for the same cost. Once an approved personalised print has entered production, we do not offer a change-of-mind return under this additional policy. This does not override statutory remedies.
8.3 Separately sold standard goods
A separately sold, non-personalised frame or other standard item is subject to the applicable statutory cancellation right. Ordinarily you must notify us within 14 days after receipt, then return it within 14 days after notifying us. We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back or evidence of their return, whichever is earlier. We refund the standard outbound delivery cost required by law; a premium delivery upgrade need not be refunded. You pay direct change-of-mind return costs only if we told you this before purchase. We may make a lawful deduction for handling beyond what is necessary to establish the item's nature, characteristics and functioning. We cover reasonable return costs for faulty goods. Contact us for the correct return address.
8.4 Services and digital products
These terms cover physical personalised prints with incidental design and proofing. If we introduce separately sold services or downloadable digital products, we provide the necessary product-specific information and cancellation terms first. Early service performance and loss of cancellation rights for immediate digital supply require the applicable express requests, consents and acknowledgements; purchase alone is insufficient.
9 Faulty goods and refunds
9.1 Remedies
Personalisation does not remove rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where applicable, faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods can be rejected within the initial 30-day statutory period for a refund. After that, repair or replacement rights, and where the legal conditions are met price reduction or final rejection rights, apply. Necessary costs of a statutory repair or replacement are ours. A fault arising within six months is generally presumed to have been present on delivery unless that presumption is incompatible with the goods or the fault, or we establish otherwise. These time periods are not a statement that all rights end after six months.
9.2 Service and refund procedure
We exercise reasonable care and skill in services. Where services do not comply, statutory rights can include repeat performance or an appropriate price reduction. Email your order reference and description of the problem; photographs can help but are not mandatory where unavailable or unsafe. Do not send unsafe broken glass through the post without agreed safe arrangements. Refunds are made using the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise, without a refund fee and within the applicable statutory timeframe, including within 14 days after we agree you are entitled to a faulty-goods refund.
10 Product safety and liability
10.1 Safe handling
Follow supplied hanging, assembly and care instructions. Use wall fixings suitable for the wall, frame and weight; obtain suitable help if unsure. Keep packaging, sharp edges and small parts away from children. Do not use visibly damaged frames or glass. We provide required safety information and respond appropriately to safety concerns. These precautions do not exclude our responsibility for unsafe products or inadequate instructions.
10.2 Liability we cannot exclude
Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; liability for defective products that cannot lawfully be excluded; breach of statutory consumer rights; or any other liability that the law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
10.3 Other losses
We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for losses caused by your conduct to the extent the law permits that allocation. We supply these products for domestic and private use and do not accept liability for business losses such as lost business profits or opportunities arising from that use. We do not impose a blanket purchase-price cap on consumer claims or require customers to waive compensation that the law provides. You should take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary additional losses.
11 Brand and website content
11.1 Intellectual property
Rights in our original website copy, designs, layouts and brand assets belong to us or our licensors to the extent recognised by law. PrintURMoment is our trading name and logo. Registered status and the registered symbol may be stated only where an applicable valid registration exists. You may use your purchased newspaper for personal display, gifting and ordinary personal sharing; commercial reproduction, resale of our protected templates or removal of proprietary notices requires permission. We do not claim ownership of your underlying memories or photographs, or guarantee exclusive copyright in purely AI-generated material.
11.2 Demonstration content and reviews
Some clearly labelled sample images, fictional graduate stories or promotional visuals may be AI-assisted or generated. They illustrate the product and do not represent a real customer experience unless stated truthfully. We do not present invented testimonials as genuine customer reviews. Materially altered images and paid or gifted endorsements must be identified appropriately. A general AI disclaimer does not excuse misleading claims about the product, scarcity, customer reviews or endorsements.
11.3 Optional customer promotion
Buying does not give us permission to publish your headline or personal details. We seek separate optional permission identifying the final material and intended channels before using it publicly. Refusal does not affect your order. You can withdraw permission for future use as described in the privacy policy. Separate AI-training permission, if ever offered, is not bundled with permission to publish.
12 Complaints and disputes
12.1 Contact and escalation
Email info.printurmoment@gmail.com with your order reference and desired resolution. We aim to acknowledge complaints within five working days and provide a substantive response within 14 calendar days, or explain why more time is reasonably needed. These targets do not postpone your legal remedies. If we cannot resolve a dispute internally, we provide information about a competent approved alternative dispute resolution body and whether we are obliged or willing to participate, as legally required. You are not required to mediate or arbitrate before exercising statutory rights or bringing court proceedings.
12.2 Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory protections applying where you habitually reside. Consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their home courts where entitled by law. This clause does not remove mandatory rights or court access for consumers in other territories we expressly serve.
13 General provisions
We may update these terms for future orders; the version accepted with your order continues to apply unless a change is legally required or expressly agreed. No unfair or unenforceable term binds you; the remainder continues where legally capable of doing so. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. We may transfer our obligations only where your rights are not reduced and we provide required notice. Nothing in these terms replaces a specific promise or description on which you reasonably relied when buying. No additional obligation is imposed on you solely by later website changes.
14 Model cancellation notice for eligible orders
To: PrintURMoment Ltd, 23 Ainger Road, Harwich, Dovercourt, info.printurmoment@gmail.com. I give notice that I cancel my contract for the following goods or services: [DESCRIPTION]. Ordered on or received on: [DATE]. Consumer name: [NAME]. Consumer address: [ADDRESS]. Signature, only if sent on paper: [SIGNATURE]. Date: [DATE]. You may use this form or any other clear cancellation statement. It is for orders with a cancellation right; it does not create a statutory change-of-mind right for personalised goods.
